Early morning arrival in Georgia. Met and assisted group in the airport. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Tbilisi sightseeing tour (B/--/D)
Explore Tbilisi And its important cultural, religious and architectural sites: Metuchen church (13th c); Sioni cathedral (8th cc), District of Sulfur Bathhouses; Anchiskhati basilica (5th cc). Treasury of the State museum. Dinner at a local restaurant; Overnigh in Tbilisi;
Day 3 Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Kutaisi (B/--/D)
Visit the ancient capital Mtskheta and its UNESCO sites: Jvari church (6th cc); Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th cc). In birth town of Josef Stalin explore "Uplistsikhe" cave town (1st millennium BC); Dinner and overnight in Kutaisi
Day 4 Kutaisi – Batumi (B/--/D)
Discover Imereti province, well known for its green fields manicured gardens, cool springs & hospitable people. visits to UNESCO sites: Bagrati Cathedral (10-11th cc) and Gelati Academy complex (12th cc). In afternoon enjoy short walking tour of Batumi; Dinner at a local restaurant; Overnigh in Batumi;
Day 5 Batumi -Tbilisi (B/--/D)
Morning free in Batumi. After visit to Gonio fortress drive to Tbilisi; en rout short stop to visit Ubisi basilica of 9th cc, richly decorated by mural painting of 14th cc. Dinner at a local restaurant; Overnigh in Tbilisi;
Day 6 Tbilisi – Telavi (B/--/D)
Explore Kakheti - the land of wine and its important architectural and religious sites: Tsinandaly Family Estate (19th cc) ; Alaverdi Cathedral (11th cc), Suamta Nunnery comlex. Dinner at a local family; overnight in Telavi;
Day 7 Telavi – Signagi –Tbilisi (B/--/D)
After breakfast Drive to Signagi Royal tow, en rout visit Gremi archtectural complex; Have a walk in narrow streets of Signagi, and visit local ethnographical museum. Before departure to Tbilisi visit Bodbe Nunnery Complex.
