The site of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park lies astride a beautiful section of the Central Caucasus. Getting off the beaten pass in Borjomi-Kharagauli Park is an experience itself. In many ways, it is the epicenter of everything that's still wild and untamed in Georgia.
Borjomi-Kharagauli is the first National Park in the Caucasus. There is an area where the trekking and hiking unbeaten pathways weaved up to the steep rock hills go through wild forest, pass high mountains streams, cross canyons, gorges and alpine meadows peppered with wild flowers. Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park has many stories waiting to be told, and a world of beauty that can renew and bring peace to the spirit.
Tour Schedule: Day 1 - Our trip starts in the morning. (8-9) We will pass through the historical town of Mtskheta - ancient capital of Georgia; Drive along the river Mtkvari and have a glimps of Jvari and Svetitskhoveli churches. The rest of the road till town of Khashuri is rich with corp grounds and orchards. A kind miller will be waiting for you at the entrance of Kvabiskhevi gorge in his old mill. If it is your desire you will be able to mill corn and weat and prepare Pelamushi and Gomi (Georgian national dishes).
