Arrival in Baku; met and assisted at the airport.

Baku - Absheron - Baku; explore historical center of Baku which is enclosed by medieval walls resembling a citadel. In the afternoon visit Absheron peninsula linked to the old religions and beliefs.

Day 3:
Baku - Gobustan - Baku; venture to see the Mud Volcanoes and Gobustan State Reserve with impressive engravings of the Stone Age.

Day 4:
From Baku to Guba via the city Khachmaz of the Soviet era; explore remote mountain village Laza.

Day 5:
Guba - Khinaliq - Baku; explore remote village of Khinaliq, impressive with its houses built of river stone on steep slopes of mountain.

Day 6:
From Baku to Gabala; en route visit the town Maraza and Shemakhy, the old capital of Shirvan state.

Day 7:
Gabala and its surroundings; drive to Sheki, visit Sheki Khan’s palace, old caravanserai and local market square; in the afternoon explore Ilisu village.

Day 8:
From Gabala to Baku via village Lahij; visit Lahij and see seven residential quarters surrounded by seven mountains, seven springs, seven mosques and seven baths.

Day 9:
Departure; transfer to the airport.
