Imereti and Samegrelo regions boast some of the most important and impressive nature monuments in the country. Katskhi Pillar, a natural limestone monolith with a tiny church built on top is overlooking the Katskhura river valley. Hidden in the Colchi’s forest, Sataplia Caves reveal the footprints of dinosaurs. The underground world of Prometheus Caves and its underground lake as well as impressive views of fresh mountain streams, blue and deep lakes and waterfalls of Martvili and Okatse canyons impress the visitors.

Day 1:
Arrival in Tbilisi; met and assisted at the airport.
Day 2:
Tbilisi; Explore the capital founded in 5th c by King Vakhtang Gorgasali on spot of hot water springs. Have a walk in Tbilisi botanical garden located in the very heart of old town.
Day 3:
Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Kutaisi; explore Mtskheta (UNESCO site) and have a walk in ancient streets of sand stones of Uplistsikhe cave town (1st millennium BC) which once was covered by the salty waters of prehistorical sea.
Day 4:
Kutaisi and its surroundings; discover Sataplia caves, give a look to footprints of dinosaurs and walk in a mixed forest of Colchis. In the afternoon explore Kutaisi and its UNESCO sites.
Day 5:
Kutaisi and its surroundings; discover Prometheus caves with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites, drapes, petrified waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers and lakes. Venture in Okatse Canyon, walk in a lush forest and along the hanging trail. Enjoy the views of astonishing waterfalls and streams creating small and deep lakes of impressive turquoise colour.
Day 6:
Kutaisi – Martvili – Kutaisi; day trip to Samegrelo Region; visit Martvili canyon with its impressive views of limestone natural bridges, waterfalls, and unique nature.
Day 7:
Kutaisi – Tbilisi; drive to Tbilisi via Sachkhere. Give a look to Katskhi pillar. Leisure evening in Tbilisi.
Day 8:
Departure; transfer to the airport.
